Frequently Asked Questions

What type of flowers can be used?
We can use just about any type of flower to make the beads.  Roses are the preferable type to transform into beads.

How many flowers do I need to send?
If using Roses, 2 roses are needed to make a pair of rosary beads, about 45 beads can be made from one rose.  Several bracelets and or chaplets can be made from 1 rose. PLEASE NOTE: If you use another type of flower other than a rose we will have to contact you to let you know how many flowers we need to make your item.  Please keep in mind the beads are scented with pure rose oil, no matter what flower is used.  If you prefer not to have your beads scented it is extremely important that you note it on your order.

What color will my beads be?
We will try to match the flower color you sent as close as possible, there may be some variations in color and it may not be exact.  A colorant is added in order to bring out the vibrant color of you flowers since they do loose most of their color during the drying process.  If your flower is white we can make it any color you want.

What if my beads should ever break?
Your beads should never break, as they are extremely hard.  If for some reason your bead(s) do break, we will replace them free of charge with the cost of shipping and handling, unless small children had carelessly played them with or they had been abused.  Also, we can replace beads for a cost if they have been ruined and submerged in water or exposed to harsh chemicals.

What address do I mail my flowers to?
Please E-mail me.

How should my flowers be mailed?
The best thing to do is to hang your flowers upside down and dry them out before mailing them but you can mail fresh flowers.  Wrap the flowers in white paper towel or tissue paper and mail them in a mailing bag, box or manila envelope.  DO NOT put them in any plastic bag/baggie, bubble wrap or saran wrap as it will cause the flowers to mold and then they cannot be used.  Remember you can have flowers from many decades ago and the process still can be done.  If the flowers have molded the process cannot be done and we will not be able to make them into beads.

When can I expect to receive my order back?
The standard quoted time is about 6 to 8 weeks.  It all depends on the size of the order.  The bead making process is all skillfully hand-made and there are NO machines that put your beads together resulting in a timely process.  There are slower times during parts of the year when and your beads/products may reach you before the 6-8 week time frame.  If the beads are needed for a special occasion or an anniversary mass you may request a delivery date and we will try to accommodate you.

How do I get payment to you?
Payment is expected when the order is placed.  We accept checks, money orders and credit cards through Pay Pal.
